the rectangular top is made of dark gray marble veined with white, showing scratches and chips at the corners consistent with the age of the piece. The apron is adorned with a continuous carved frieze of rosettes inscribed within interlaced circular medallions, running the entire length and along the sides. The four tapered legs, slender at the bottom, terminate in carved sabots typical of the louis xvi neoclassical style. The oak displays a natural golden-brown patina with visible signs of age, including exposed fixing holes on the stretchers. Overall condition consistent with its age.
