The original name for the chair was ‘troy’ but ikea changed it into ‘troya’ and featured the chair in their 1960 catalogue. This elegant yet sturdy chair with a dark teak wooden frame and original light green velvet upholstery makes a comfortable desk or dining chair. The embracing form of the backrest, continuing in the armrests make this another gem by the danish master designer.
