the frames display a characteristic neoclassical decorative repertoire: fluted, tapered legs with rings, rectangular backs framed by moldings adorned with beaded friezes and interlacing patterns, scrolled armrests, a carved apron, and corner rosettes. The underside of the backs reveals uncarved structural wood, confirming the traditional craftsmanship of french chair makers. The current upholstery, in a blue, beige, and terracotta geometric patterned fabric, needs to be completely replaced – a full reupholstering is required (this can be done by the seller's workshop upon request and quote).

the structural condition is good. Minor restorations to the frames may be necessary.
