Rare original 1975 industrial design rendering by Brooks Stevens Associates, one of the most influential American design firms of the 20th century. This presentation board (20" x 26", image 18" x 24") illustrates a CNC machine concept, showcasing the clean lines and forward-looking engineering aesthetic of the era.
Believed to have been created for Kearney & Trecker, the renowned Milwaukee-based manufacturer and early CNC innovator. The machine’s form and styling align with documented designs, and faint pencil notation in the lower right appears to reference “Kearney & Trecker,” supporting its authenticity and provenance.
Original industrial design boards from this period are exceptionally scarce, with no comparable examples identified. A highly collectible piece of mid-century modern industrial design, ideal for collectors of design history, engineering artifacts, and Milwaukee manufacturing heritage.
