This composition is part of an artistic reflection on the fundamental duality that permeates human experience: black and white become antagonistic yet complementary forces. Through a play of graphic tensions and perpetually interacting abstract forms, the work constructs a space of confrontation where contained violence, imbalance, and the quest for harmony unfold.
The gesture, sometimes abrupt, sometimes almost erased, reveals a vulnerability perceptible beneath the rigor of the composition. The appearance of the circle then acts as an essential counterpoint: an archaic and universal form, it introduces a visual respite, stabilizes the pictorial field, and suspends the instability of the lines. Its presence soothes without ever neutralizing the tension that runs through the whole.
Through its chromatic economy and the density of its formal language, the work evokes a contemplative experience where light and darkness cease to oppose each other and enter into a relationship of interdependence. It imposes a presence that is both radical and meditative, capable of transforming space into a place of inner resonance. Signed by Maker
