A lovely antique Gabbeh rug, hand woven by the nomadic Qashqai tribe circa 1940. The design features 5 medallions on a rich terracotta field. Some interesting characters including peacocks and camels and a great example of tribal art!
Size: 1.58m x 1.08m (5ft 2in x 3ft 7in)
This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
