Bronze sculpture signed by Robert Neuhauser, created in Switzerland in the 1980s.
The piece consists of a vertical volume structured by a play of voids and solids. A circular cavity is inscribed within the mass, extended by a carved line that accentuates the tension between surface and depth.
The warm-toned brown patina emphasizes the continuity of the forms and the smoothness of the transitions. The whole develops an organic vocabulary characteristic of the artist's work.
Robert Neuhauser, born in Altnau, initially worked with wood before expanding his practice to stone and bronze. His sculptures are distinguished by their fluid lines and almost corporeal presence.
