The lanterns are mounted to rustic stained wood backboards and suspended from heavy iron hooks, appearing to be classic Dietz “Vesta”-type examples—one retaining its original galvanized finish and the other in green enamel. Both display characteristic vented tops, swing handles, and embossed markings consistent with mid-20th century railroad lighting. The warm amber globes offer a rich contrast against the dark metal and wood, while the custom mounting introduces a farmhouse or industrial aesthetic ideal for cabin, lodge, or railroad-themed décor.
