Hand carved and polychromed, the mask features a red skull motif integrated into the snout, with incised and painted eyes. The horns are painted in alternating red, yellow, and green bands, each terminating in attached black and white ribbons. Such masks were typically used in community festivals or dances to embody hybrid animal spiritual figures. Stand not included. In used condition with wear consistent with age.
