Large scale hand carved figure of a female bust emerging from a cornucopia of flowers. Constructed of multiple layers of wood and held together with original iron brackets.
Was likely a side panel to a chariot or a facade element from a vintage carousel. There is a carving of ""XXXVI"" visible on the back, possibly a note for the worker to pair with its other panel. A rare and high impact folk art piece of Americana that would certainly be an anchor point/conversation piece in an eclectic interior.
