They … Read more These butter spreaders are all sterling silver meaning both the hollow handles and the blades are sterling. Truly exceptional. They are styled with notched paddle blades bearing the old hallmarks and the hollow handles are heavily decorated in one of the 15 fruit groupings used on this pattern. Francis I was patented in 1907 and the eagle-R-lion hallmark was used until about 1950. The knives in are in splendid vintage condition. No monograms. Sold as a lot of 8. An anti-tarnish storage roll is included if the buyer wants it. See less
