Pieces are made of porcelain and hand painted in a Wisteria motif. Very rare to find this floral design on porcelain, it's out there but rare, none the less. .Cups have a built-in whistle to signal for more sake and are called whistlers. This set is used with a little lose of gold on the whistle part of the cups. No flea bites or cracks. I've had this set on display in my personal collection for several years. I've been looking for the sake bottle to match but to no avail.. All are signed by the same maker. See less
