He used a mixture of material on Bead-Board. It measures 55.25”’high X 48”’wide and .25” thick. This painting is not framed but it would be a perfect candidate for doing so. Without question once hanging on your wall, it’s guaranteed to make an impressive statement. Furthermore, it is signed by the artist on the lower front bottom “Cyrstofer” which is the artists trade mark name and dated 2026.

Shoemaker began painting back in 2000. He was impressed with the late and well known artist Purvis Young who is an outsider artist who paints on found materials, plus being completely self taught. Shoemaker follows that same theme, just like the fact the this Bead-Board he painted it on is found material, typical for outsider artists.
