A color lithograph by the artist Joan Miró (1893-1983) printed in the French art publication Derriere le Miroir, no. 128, June 1961 - published by Maeght Editor Paris. Unsigned with printing on reverse as original. The edition was dedicated to Miro and included 7 lithographs - the "red ring" was the centerfold.

Derrière le Miroir was a French art magazine created in 1946 and published until 1982. Aimé Maeght (27 April 1906 – 5 September 1981) was a French art dealer, collector, lithographer, and publisher. He founded the Galerie Maeght in Paris.
The Derriere Le Mirroir has always been part of the artist's Catalogue Raisonne, with quality and precise lithographs of the artists work. Each issue was done with the artist and the publisher making these issues and the individual lithographs sought after and the Miro is exceptional. The lithographs have bold and vibrant colors with deep rich black.
