At center, a starburst medallion emerges with similarly shielded articulation, anchoring the design with quiet symmetry. The palette is notably upbeat and harmonious, lending the rug a lively presence, while the patina and gentle wear convey authentic age and a well-earned sense of life. Colors and shades include: Ivory, cochineal red, sapphire blue, dusty lemon lime, dark navy blue, blush and more. Condition notes: Wear across to foundation and knot heads. Mostly secure sides and ends. Carpet has multiple bare spots along both selvage. Multiple areas of repairs in varying degrees of expertise. Carpet has some faint adhesive located near one end approximately a dime size. One side measures 6'9" whereas the opposing measures 6'11". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
