Striking vintage table lamp crafted from an authentic Japanese ceramic sake/storage jug, later professionally converted for use as a lamp. Features hand-painted cobalt blue calligraphy, green seal/cartouche decoration, white glazed stoneware body, and a wrapped bentwood/rattan-style carrying handle. Brass-tone hardware complements the vessel’s rustic, sculptural form.
A beautiful blend of Japanese folk art and decorative lighting—ideal for wabi-sabi, chinoiserie, eclectic, or collected interiors.
Please note the height of this lamp is approximately 18” to the top of the socket.
