Qing Dynasty Influence: The presence … Read more This is a beautiful, vintage (circa 1940’s) Chinese hand carved altar /console table. Excellent condition. Qing Dynasty Influence: The presence of pierced geometric spandrels (the decorative carvings where the legs meet the top) is a common feature of Qing Dynasty style furniture. The geometric brass pull on the drawer matches the spandrels. It is 24” wide x 14” deep x 27” tall and has a lovely, center panel with mitered 2” wood border. this piece is solid wood, no veneer, etc. It’s in excellent condition, but it does have a small 5/8” notch on the back edge as shown.
