A napoleon iii period mirror, circa 1850-1880, in blackened lacquered wood with a curved, molded profile.
the frame features rounded upper corners and straight lower corners, characteristic of the louis-philippe style of the second empire period. A fine gilt fillet, applied with gold leaf, outlines the edge of the mirror. The back reveals a construction of assembled rough-sawn wooden planks, confirming the piece's age. The mirror has been restored and is in excellent overall condition. Dimensions: h. 61 cm, w. 48 cm, weight 5 kg.
