The layout is compact yet practical: two small drawers with metal handles at the bottom, a closed storage compartment with two sliding doors above, and an open display space at the top.

Dimensions: height 44 cm, width 40.5 cm, depth 27.5 cm.

A beautiful detail is the cloud-shaped cut-out on each side panel of the open section. These add a subtle decorative touch.

The sliding doors have round recessed copper pulls, and the wood grain remains visible throughout the entire cabinet.

This type of small Japanese cabinet fits well within the Taishō period and works beautifully today as a compact display piece for ceramics, books, small objects or ikebana. Thanks to its modest size, it can also be used as a bedside cabinet, low storage piece or stylish accent in a wabi-sabi, minimalist or warm contemporary interior.

Condition: very good used condition with normal signs of age, light wear and patina consistent with age and use; solid, functional and highly decorative. See less
