Unic rustic mid-century wall relief with two candleholders by Fridtjof Sejersen for Sejer Studio Ceramic, Denmark
It´s made in the 1960's at his own studio workshop in Nr. Aaby on the Danish island Funen. Fridtjof Sejersen ran the ceramic work-shop from 1941 to 1978.
The brutalist style relief is made of chamotte clay has an embossed décor which gives a rustic and vivid expression. Two ball shaped candleholders in perforated design is mounted to the relief. The glaze varies form glossy to matte in shades of blue and grey with ochre brown rim.
Hand marked: Sejer
Very good vintage condition without chips, cracks or repair. This piece has an attribution mark,
I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
