super sturdy, medium-sized chest of drawers

a pretty little piece of furniture, practical with two drawers at the bottom and two doors.

behind the doors is a lockable shelf (key included).

featuring ornate chippendale-style legs.

great as a small linen cupboard, hallway cupboard, or tv cabinet.

it may have been used as a tv cabinet for the last few decades, as the original back panel is missing (it was often removed when technical equipment like a vcr was stored at the bottom and cables needed to be connected).

the back panel has been replaced, hence the missing manufacturer's mark "arbeitskreis deutsche stilmöbel" (working group for german style furniture) with the delivery date of 1965.

the color is called "antique walnut," however, this cabinet has faded considerably due to sunlight.

therefore, it might also be a great diy project to give it a shabby chic makeover if the fading and the visible ring on the base bother you.
