Designed for use in active mining operations, the sign would have been positioned near crane pathways to warn operators of overhead electrical hazards and the need to check boom clearance. The typography is clean and highly legible, with strong geometric spacing typical of mid-century industrial design. Mounting holes at the corners remain intact, and the reverse shows the original olive-toned backing with handling marks from storage. Salvaged from the White Pine Copper Mine in Michigan, this example was never installed, retaining a crisp, unused face despite decades of age. See less
