The company became known by this name in 1877, was bought by Reed & Barton in 1918 and closed in 1923 so this piece was made sometime between those dates. A beautiful antique. The design is a no-fuss version of the Kings pattern that is repeated on the back of the handle and extends to the top of the blade. There are signs of "drawer wear" to the edges that I have tried to capture, but other than that the server is in top notch condition with no signs of wear to the pattern and the hallmark is clearly legible. There is a three-letter monogram which is nicely placed and blends in with the design. An anti-tarnish storage bag is included should the buyer want it. See less
