An English satinwood crossbanded mahogany twin pedestal dining table, by William Tillman, of George III style, second half 20th century, … Read more An English satinwood crossbanded mahogany twin pedestal dining table, by William Tillman, of George III style, second half 20th century, on ring turned columns to four reeded splayed legs, brass caps and castors, 73cm high, 249cm wide, 107cm deep Provenance: Property of Baron Stanley Kalms (1931-2025) This is fabulous Vintage George III Revival dining table by the master cabinet maker William Tillman, Circa 1980 in date. The table is made of stunning solid flame mahogany with satinwood crossbanded decoration. It is raised on twin "gun barrel" turned columns on quadruple swept square fluted sabre leg bases which are fitted with brass-capped toes and castors. This table was purchased at great expense from the master cabinet maker William Tillman, Crouch Lane, Borough Green Kent in the 1980s. The table has two leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion. This makes it a versatile dining table which can comfortably seat ten people an the underside bears labels for William Tillman. Provenance: Property of Baron Stanley Kalms (1931-2025)
