This is a matte white Tressemanes & Vogt Limoges Chocolate Pot with an all over gold painted spout and a … Read more This is a matte white Tressemanes & Vogt Limoges Chocolate Pot with an all over gold painted spout and a raised gold design over the remainder of the pot and lid. The pattern name is unknown, but the Tressemanes and Vogt mark is dated 1919 to 1928 and the mark itself is dated December 22, 1896. It also has a partial Hand Painted Austria mark that I cannot identify. Given that the chocolate pot is dated December 1896, it is in amazing condition with no wear of any kind. Someone took exceptional care of this item, and it is destined to become a family heirloom.

The chocolate pot measures 4.25 inches across the bottom and is 2 7/8 inches across the top rim. It is 8.50 inches tall to the rim and 9 5/8 inches tall to the top of the handle.

I have included a couple pictures of the gold detail. It has a lot of shapes with a cross design with dots in the center and a lot of raised gold trim. The spout is completely painted gold and it has zero wear, marks, defects, or damage. The top and bottom rim have great shaping with gold trim to accent it as does the handle. Honestly, it looks brand new. There is not on single chip, crack, craze mark, use mark or utensil mark. The inside is clean and stain free and it is perfection. Absolute perfection. See less
