It … Read more This is a white biscuit jar with a blue floral design and two fairy shaped handles on the sides. It comes with the matching lid. It is marked Cheng’s White Jade Porcelain as shown. I cannot find any data on this company or a pattern name or age.

One side appears to have been broken and repaired and this is shown. There is a crack, which is very hard to see but easy to feel. It starts above one of the fairy handles and goes across the lower blue flower. It seems to go in a long low sweep from one handle, down to the flower and back up to the other handle. I have shown it from several angles. You can see and feel it on the top rim above the handle, but I cannot find the other end.

The biscuit jar measures 4.25 inches across and is 5.00 inches tall and deep. It is 6.25 inches to the top of the handle.

The lid is an exact match, but fits a bit loosely-in my opinion. The inside is clean and there are no chips, cracks, or other damage. Clearly it cannot hold liquid, but this damage should not be an issue with any dry goods. See less
