magnificent cabinet on stand, early 19th century French, detailed marquetry on every panel, ornate ormolu on every edge and panel, … Read more magnificent cabinet on stand, early 19th century French, detailed marquetry on every panel, ornate ormolu on every edge and panel, fluted brass columns on the cabinet, fluted wood legs on the base, single drawer, pull open cabinet with overlap door, brass escutcheon, no key but most period keys should work, cabinet interior was replaced from original with one simple glass shelf (but we would all rather admire the exterior than the interior, which probably also had a single shelf)

two separate pieces for easier transport, 56 3/4" wide, 18 1/2" deep, 69" high

exquisitely built, very good condition after 200 years, interior replaced as mentioned, right side is missing one row of ormolu, left side is missing two rows of ormolu, but with this much detail, who would notice? See less
