Large scale modernist painting by Spanish painter Jose Lapayese Del Rio, 1968. Titled "Plaza Del Rey, Barrio Gotico (Barcelona)" . Oil on canvas. Signed lower right and again verso along with title and date, painted in Madrid.
Vibrant rich colors and a wonderful composition
No noticeable flaws or paint loss, with some minor crackling to the paint and wear to the inner wood liner.
