Vintage Set of 6 Rustic Danish European Oak and Rope Dining Chairs. The chairs feature solid wood frames with large exposed joinery details and hand-strung rope seats and backs.
These chairs are clean and minimal in their design. The architectural forms and strung rope truly reinterpret traditional rush seating in a minimalist Nordic style. Chairs are most likely Danish or Dutch in origin, circa 1960s–70s.
The chairs are in good vintage condition overall showing only minimal signs of age and use which add to their wabi sabi, minimalist aesthetic. They are solid and 100% useable. There is nothing I would consider damage or noteworthy.
