English 19th century pine stool with side stretchers and rustic character.
This is a piece with charm and practicality that beautifully showcases the simplicity and robustness of traditional furniture.
Crafted from pine, the stool exudes a warm, earthy character, its wood grain and texture speaking of its history and use. The shaped hole in the center of the seat is thoughtfully included to make it easy to grab and move.
"ER" stamp on the underside of the seat suggests it was produced during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Regina) or King Edward VII/VIII (Edwardus Rex).
