One … Read more This beautiful maple leaf sculpture designed in the style of Curtis Jere (unsigned) likely originated around the early 1970s.

One of the most unique and beautiful aspects of this and other pieces like it is that the artist uses the welding to create a effect that gives it a rich organic feel as if it's real leaves reflecting the light.

There are holes on some of the leaves. I'm not sure if they were original or not. Please see pictures.

I would highly encourage the buyer to look at the close up picture I added, and even blow the pictures up and look closely at this effect as it is unapologetically natural. Of course, that was the style of most artists in the 1970s.

I love this piece. It is full of dimension, it's organic (as I said earlier,) and creates quite an impact based upon the lighting its in. In fact, I've given you two examples in my pictures of how the light plays off the sculpture. The darker images are inside, the others are outside under a cloudy sky.
