The composition is structured around two distinct foreground figures, surrounded by a densely layered field of mask-like faces and stylised forms that clearly refer to the visual language of Japanese haniwa terracotta funerary sculptures. The overall image feels vivid and rhythmic.

Dimensions without frame: height 130.5 cm, width 97 cm, depth 3 cm. Dimensions with frame: height 148.5 cm, width 115 cm, depth 8 cm.

The oil paint is applied heavily in impasto, with clear texture, built-up layers, and a strongly tactile surface. The palette is muted and warm, with tones of beige, grey-green, soft blue, rust, dusty pink, and dark brown. Together with the compact composition, this gives the work a quiet yet convincing presence on the wall.

On the reverse is an original label stating that the painting is part of a series of five, together with the title, a name attribution to Takahashi, and a later note indicating additional brushwork in 1986.

The work can also be supplied with a silver-coloured frame if desired.
