A napoleon iii period side mirror, narrow and elongated (h. 164 cm × w. 48 cm), made of wood and stucco.
the frame has been repainted in matte white and gilded with gold leaf. The pediment features a central medallion of a woman's face with floral hair, framed by scrolls and surmounted by a ribbon bow. The side panels are decorated with applied gilt floral bouquets and foliage, as well as a beaded frieze framing the glass. The lower corners are adorned with acanthus and gilt flower motifs. The glass is original, with an antique patina. The solid wood back panel is new, indicating a recent and careful restoration. Weight: 25 kg.
