Vertical, vertical format with two rounded upper corners and two square lower corners. The frame is made of stuccoed wood gilded with gold leaf, retaining its original gilding with engraved geometric motifs of lozenges and crosses around the entire perimeter, and a beaded molding encircles the glass. The antique mercury glass exhibits pronounced foxing, pitting, and a haze characteristic of natural aging. The back is made of assembled rough-hewn wooden planks, typical of 19th-century craftsmanship.

Workshop report: open cracks at the two lower corners of the frame; losses to the gilding revealing the red bole layer; general wear consistent with the age of the piece. Gilding repairs are needed in the areas of loss. The glass is in its current condition.
