A louis xvi style rectangular vertical mirror with a white lacquered and gilded wooden frame.
the frame consists of an outer molding with a curved profile, also gilded with gold leaf, a flat white lacquered panel, and a delicate gilded beaded molding (a string of beads) that directly borders the glass. The glass is an original antique mercury mirror, displaying the characteristic iridescence and oxidation of this type of mirror. The back is fitted with a new pine parquet floor, carefully fitted together to secure the antique glass. The entire piece has been fully restored. Excellent overall condition. Dimensions: h. 157 cm, w. 5 cm, weight 40 kg.
