The base carries a cast bronze elephant, cast and finished in a dark patina, positioned in a raised stance that introduces a sculptural counterpoint to the lamp. The shade is formed in opaline glass, gently flared and seated in a simple metal mount. The bronze surface shows a developed patina with soft highlights on protruding areas. The marble presents light edge wear and minor surface marks consistent with age. The glass remains even in tone with slight wear at the rim. The lamp provides a warm, diffused light suitable for a side table or console.
