Swedish 19th century carved birch chest of drawers circa 1870.
Fine quality 5 drawer chest of drawers from Scandinavia.
3 plank top surface with rounded front edge, decorated with a contrasting gadrooned border. Each drawer opens on the key which is typical of Swedish furniture of this era. Top shallow drawer with shaped drawer front, complimented by 4 further drawers of near equal proportions. All raised on 4 turned feet.
Ideal to use in multiple rooms around the home, especially the bedroom. Working locks and 2 keys.
Fully re-polished by hand in our workshop and maintaining it's original rich golden colour. Very minor surface marks and natural fading. Ready for everyday use.
