It has a simple structure, two doors and a drawer. It could have been in the dining room or the kitchen, where personal items could be kept. The decoration of the corner cabinet is in the old German style, and the painting is floral ornamentation, which is quite worn. The surface of the cabinet was painted in a wood-style to make it look more valuable. This was fashionable at the time. The back is rough, untreated wood, which is also true to the period.
