Vintage Shlomi Haziza two tone Lucite Acrylic Contemporary Pedestal Side Table. Measures 36" height, with the beveled edges top and base, both measures 14" square. Original Haziza label on base lower right. Excellent undamaged condition with the notation of minor scuffs which should polish out, mentioned for accuracy.
The art sculpture incorporates sixteen clear 1" wide Lucite rods with slanted, cut & polished ends, arranged in a striking criss-crossing design that catches and scatters light refractions.
Acrylic is a very sophisticated material to work with. Shlomi Haziza is one of the first innovators of this unforgiving medium and a world leader in acrylic art and design. His work has grown to include sculptures, pedestals, furniture, lighting and more.
