The proportions are particularly pleasing, with a generous top above three graduated drawers, each fitted with oval brass plate handles and central escutcheons.
The colour and figuring to the mahogany are warm and rich, showing a lovely depth across the drawer fronts. The sides are well matched and the piece stands on shaped bracket feet, giving it a classic early 19th century stance.
