A quintessential piece of Space Age design, this spherical "orb" ashtray captures the retro-futuristic optimism of the 1960s and 70s. Its high-polish chrome exterior reflects its surroundings, making it a "disappearing" yet sculptural object on a coffee table or executive desk.
The Details: Unlike common all-metal versions, this premium model features a cream-colored ceramic-lined interior bowl. This not only provides a sophisticated color contrast but also makes for a much easier cleaning experience and a weightier, high-quality feel in the hand. The top features a signature notched rest for a cigarette or small cigar.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The chrome retains a brilliant, mirror-like luster with only very minor surface wear consistent with age. The ceramic interior is clean and free of chips or heavy staining.
