New old stock (NOS) 1960s Hires Root Beer bottle-shaped advertising thermometer sign. Iconic single-sided lithographed tin (SST) piece in the classic brown bottle form with red-orange dripping cap, white neck, frosted red highlights, and the famous “Genuine Hires Root Beer” logo.
Features the original working glass thermometer tube (red alcohol fill, Fahrenheit scale from -60° to 120°+, secured by factory metal retaining clips). Never displayed — pristine condition with bright, unfaded graphics on the front and a completely clean white enameled metal reverse showing the original mounting holes and tube channel. Marked “4145 MADE IN U.S.A.” on the bottom edge (authentic period stamp). No rust, dents, scratches, or wear.
Measures approximately 28.5" tall x 8" wide. A standout piece of American soda memorabilia from one of the oldest root beer brands (est. 1876). Perfect for vintage kitchen, man cave, soda fountain, or retro bar display.
