Original oil painting titled “Old Europe,” signed and dated 2013 by the artist.
The artist is Artak Muradyan, known professionally as Amour (AMOUR / Амур), an Armenian painter with a long-standing exhibition history within the Russian and international gallery system. His work has been presented in numerous exhibitions over several decades, including international art fairs and gallery programs, and is held in private collections worldwide.
Executed in a richly textured impasto technique using a palette knife, the painting features thick, sculptural layers of oil paint that create a highly tactile, dimensional surface. The composition captures a lively European street scene with expressive energy and strong material presence.
The piece is presented in a substantial, heavy, original frame, contributing to its visual impact and gallery-level presentation. Please note that due to its solid construction, the artwork has significant weight.
This work was acquired through a private gallery in Russia, where the artist’s works were exhibited and offered to collectors.
