Rising on bamboo shape tubular supports, each stand features four graduated circular platforms stylized as lotus leaves or liiy pads. The asymmetrical composition and tiered arrangement transform these functional objects into architectural sculptural forms, equally suited for displaying plants, ceramics, or decorative objects. 39in H x 21" W at widest point.
Condition: Some wear ands cuffs consistent with age and use.

John B. Salterini (American, 1902–1950) founded Salterini Furniture in New York and became one of the leading producers of high-quality wrought iron furniture during the mid-twentieth century. The firm's designs—many created in collaboration with notable designers such as Maurizio Tempestini—are recognized for their sophisticated combination of classical ironworking techniques with modernist aesthetics, and today remain highly regarded by collectors of American decorative arts.
