Crafted in solid beechwood with original leather upholstered seats, the DeTriana chair by Perry King & Santiago Miranda for Atelier International is distinguished by its sculptural arm profile and signature oval backrest aperture—an architectural reference to the historic lookout Rodrigo de Triana. The design reflects the refined geometric minimalism characteristic of King & Miranda’s late-20th-century Italian work.
This matched set includes three original factory finishes drawn from the catalog palette:
– two black (ebony) with light green leather
– two natural beech with oxblood leather
– two green (pear) with oxblood leather
The variation reflects intentional production options rather than later modification and creates a subtle postmodern composition when grouped around a dining table.
The original leather seats remain in very good vintage condition with a patina consistent with age and light use.
Comfortable, structurally solid, and visually distinctive, these chairs work equally well in residential dining settings, conference environments, or design-forward interiors.
