Paris porcelain tea set in the Empire taste including a pot with snake handles, lion head spout and satyr mask; an ovoid compressed oval sugar urn with lion masks at the side; and a cream jug with snake handles and classical tiger mask. Marked on the bottom in iron red stencil B. Klein a Paris. Represents the highest quality production of early Paris. Exceptional gilding and tasteful reddish brown ground. Tea pot measures 9" over handle and sucrier is 7 1/4" tall. Sugar bowl lid has a small chip on the fitter - does not show. Very good condition. See less
