Each structure is composed by nearly 100 steel rods welded one by one. It’s an artisanal lamp that reminds traditional wicker baskets. Different shapes and different finishes can be combined. Structure (rods) and canopy available in; graphite matt, golden matt or copper electroplated steel. Two led modules are placed at the bottom edge of the structure. One facing up and the other facing down, provide ambient and direct light. Led modules and 1-10v dimmable driver included. After years spent traveling between new york and europe, as well as living abroad in tokyo & milan, stephen became an independent designer at the turn of the millennium, when the famed italian manufacturer cappellini put his first pieces into production. About the manufacturer: dedicated to decorative lighting, parachilna was born from our love of luxury. Their idea of luxury is about the integrity of the design, the quality of the materials and the artisanal craftsmanship that creates it. Preserving the skills and knowledge of the few remaining metalsmiths, glass blowers, ceramists and other skilled craftsmen in europe and, hopefully, in the rest of the world. Lamps and most of our components are assembled and made by cutting edge technology machines: humans. There’s someone that took out the ceramic from the mould, someone that blew the glass and someone that mounted the lamp and packed it. All those persons imprint their energy in each fixture. That makes them unique and one of a kind. We believe that human-made is the best made! this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
