Møllers Møbelfabrik. This particular set was produced in the late 1970s, shortly after the chair’s commercial introduction.

Like all of Moller’s designs, Model 67 features impossibly smooth curves and seamless joinery, resulting in a piece that seems more a product of nature than it does a manmade object. Ergonomically curved backrests ensure a comfortable sit, despite the design’s simple, organic appearance.

All chairs are solid and have been fully refinished. The seats have been reupholstered with new webbing and high density foam wrapped in a French vanilla leather from Edelman’s Royal Hide collection.

Moller armchairs are difficult to come by. Finding them in teak adds another layer of rarity, as most models are only available in oak and walnut today. A set of eight armchairs shows up once in a blue moon.

Due to their arm height, these chairs are ideally paired with a Danish trestle base or pedestal base dining table, which generally have no apron and offer maximum vertical clearance. They can also be paired with a Saarinen Tulip Table or Florence Knoll Table desk for a timelessly modern look. See less
