Late 19th to … Read more Pair of Antique Whites Utica Salt Glazed Stoneware Advertisement Beer Steins for your consideration. American, New York. Late 19th to early 20th Century. Both mugs attributed to Whites Pottery, Utica. Stoneware, salt-glazed with cobalt highlights. The larger mug, "Iroquois Brewing Co. Buffalo, N.Y." measures approx. 5 inches tall and approx. 4 3/4 inches from lip rim to handle. Rim chip including an approx. 1 1/2-inch line descending from it, as well as a horizontal crack and hairline through handle, yet secure. The smaller mug, "Schlitz Brewing Co. MILWAUKEE" measures approx. 4 1/2 inches tall and approx. 4 inches from lip rim to handle. One inch flake to rim, hairlines from rim, a short triangular crack to rim, as well as staining. See photos.
