Mid-century modern, signed Edna Glaubman abstract expressionism oil painting features sailboats in shades of blue and white with orange hulls. Edna Glaubman (1919-1986) was an artist known for creating abstract nautical scenes and sailboats using vibrant color palettes, also featuring deep blues and contrasting orange or red tones. Edna Glaubman was active in Miami from 1961-1986 and was part of the original Coconut Grove Arts movement. She studied at the Art Students League in Woodstock and New York City and graduated from the Parsons School of Fine & Applied Arts.
Simple, minimalist walnut frame is a great compliment to this piece.
